Settings

Settings live in ~/.axom/axom.yaml. Change them with /config in the terminal, the Customize screen in the browser UI, or by editing the file. Most apply after axom restart; job settings apply immediately.

Model

Digest pages	fanout_digest	overflow	off · overflow · always. Digest pages that don't fit the window.

Jobs

Runtime

Unload after idle	idle_timeout	30m	Free the GPU after this long idle: 10m … 6h, or off.
Terminal screen	ui	full	full or plain.
Speculative decoding	speculative	lookup	Draft from text already in context, faster on rewrites and quotes.

In axom.yaml only

Not in the settings screen yet. Edit ~/.axom/axom.yaml and run axom restart.

engine_sessions	1	Sessions that run at the same time on one loaded model, each in its own stream, decoded together by the scheduler.

Secrets

API keys go in ~/.axom/.env (for example BRAVE_API_KEY), never in axom.yaml.
